Responsibilities

Lead the technology organisation, managing engineers, tech leads, PO and QA responsible for evolving company products.
Define technology strategy and platform evolution, aligning technical decisions with business goals.
Engineering team management — organisation, technical priorities, performance and professional development.
Plan and manage the technology budget and resources, ensuring efficient infrastructure and tooling spend.
Architect and develop critical platform services, contributing actively to implementation and evolution.
Operate services in production, ensuring reliability, availability and continuous evolution of the platform.

Architected and built a payments and subscriptions service handling the full payment lifecycle: order creation, payment validation, anti-fraud and product activation.
Implemented a Payment Hub unifying integrations with multiple payment gateways.
Built a Node.js + TypeScript microservices architecture with RabbitMQ for payment-request orchestration.
Built a multichannel communication service handling SMS, WhatsApp, email and push notifications, integrated with Firebase, Twilio SMS, SendGrid and Twilio Flex.
Migrated infrastructure from bare EC2 (no CI/CD or autoscaling) to a containerised AWS ECS Fargate architecture.
Introduced modern infrastructure practices including CI/CD with GitHub Actions, autoscaling, failover, logging and monitoring — significantly improving reliability and scalability.
